Full refurbishment of an ancient lakeside townhouse in Colonno, Lake Como. Only the external walls of this building remained during the demolition process. Working in a tight and restrictive site the project rebuilt the original house with a focus on maintaining and emphasizing the original materials and local building techniques on the lake. The four bedroom house is a rich tapestry of natural materials fused with contemporary fixtures and fittings and flooded with natural light.
